A common misconception of moving into retirement community or retirement home is will I lose my independence? But with PARC Retirement Living you actually gain more independence and allow you to do more with your life. When you are eating well, exercising, socializing with other seniors and going out, you have more energy to live your life to the fullest.

No matter how old you are, it’s never too late to start getting active and age well. As the body ages, muscle cells and brain cells deteriorate, but the interesting fact is that you can improve at any age regardless of your age.

PARC Retirement Living’s Independent Living+ program helps you achieve just that – healthy aging. It’s a multidimensional program that’s based of a holistic approach of nutrition, physical fitness, brain fitness and socialization.

PARC FIT exercise programs consist of yoga, tai chi, strength training programs, seated and standing balance and mobility classes with a one on one PARC FIT instructor. We can also measure noticeable improvements using the IHP tool (Interactive Health Partner) after 3-6 months. Our programs have shown improvement in seniors with mobility and joint issues.

We also have a Wellness Nurse available to our seniors for screenings, regular meetings to identify risk factors, and illness prevention.
